Problem
Content designers were bogged down with standards-based UX writing tasks: time-consuming but repeatable work that prevented focus on strategic projects.
What we built
A Rovo AI agent configured with RAG to draft UI copy (error messages, modal descriptions) and answer content standards questions. Integrated into Slack with a dedicated channel, a usage guidebook, and example prompts.

Problem
New users onboarding onto Talent, a brand-new Atlassian app, had no way to self-serve help or evaluate whether the product was right for them.
What I built
Created an experience model to map Talent's terminology and relationships, then built a documentation IA centered on core user tasks (not just UI reflection). Collaborated with support to proactively address common pitfalls and aligned with the sister product Focus for a cohesive collection experience.
Impact
New customers cited the documentation as easing their onboarding. The docs also became an internal reference for engineering and support to understand how Talent works.

Problem
Users were manually uploading headcount data via CSV, creating friction and slowing HR processes. The HRIS connector setup spanned multiple tools and admin roles, resulting in a complex, high-friction experience.
What I did
Walked the team through Atlassian admin platform nuances, synced with the platform content designer on concurrent changes, and designed an error experience with a downloadable CSV so product admins could easily escalate issues to org admins.
Impact
Accelerated shared understanding across the team, aligned content patterns and terminology with the platform team, and shipped the connector to enable Talent's core workforce design functionality.

Problem
Enterprise customers needed fine-grained permission controls and higher feature caps to adopt Compass at scale. The absence of a Premium plan was a blocker to adoption.
What I did
Designed content for upsell modals, feature gates, and permission policy explanations, accounting for Forge/API users outside the UI, component owners with special access, and intentional open-access defaults to support adoption. Also authored the documentation published alongside source code via Bitbucket PR.
Impact
Unblocked enterprise adoption by addressing the permission gap, and expanded the product's value with higher limits for scorecards, custom metrics, custom fields, and component templates.
Who I am
Hi, I'm Lizzy. A NYC-based senior content designer and strategist who partners with product and design teams to shape how emerging products communicate; from the first word on the screen to the full content system behind it.
I've led content for products from the ground up for enterprise organizations across DevOps, workforce planning, and software management: building the systems, stories, and in-product guidance that make complex software feel human.
When I'm not working on excellent user experiences, you can find me walking my dog exploring NYC, tinkering with my PC, reading, or buying stickers at any local stationary store.
Get in touch
I'm actively looking for my next role on a product team where I can contribute content vision, craft, and storytelling from the ground up. If that sounds like a fit, let's talk.
